bird cardinal painting watercolor cynderheart

Description

I'm outside at the moment because it's a beautiful breezy day c': and last night I made some very quick sketches so that I could paint some Blue Jays and Cardinals, which are my favorite birds along with Hummingbirds! So first I painted a cardinal c': This was done with watercolor, which I haven't properly painted with since a long time. It's nice to paint traditionally! I bought a small watercolor sketchbook earlier this week for some practice!
Added some last touches with my white gel roll pen, though the highlights look a little sloppy xD oh well!

Fantastic watercolor drawing, I really like the bright colors and how well you drew the cardinal. It looks beautiful with all these nice details, great job! I how you made the eyes.

BTW Whenever I see cardinals I can't stop thinking about angry birds. XD
